MWC 300m Water Resistant Stainless Steel Tritium GTLS Navigator Watch (Automatic) This robust 300m water resistant watch was specifically designed for marine, surface and airborne navigation applications, manufactured to U.S MIL-PRF-46374G specification.The watches all have a 12hr bezel, which offers a very simple and straightforward method to track a second time-zone. The ceramic bezel has high visibility numerals and the dial is also very clear and easy to read even under adverse light conditions. The watch uses Tritium GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) which are significantly brighter than any conventional luminous watch.The timepiece features a high quality NH35A Automatic movement and the watch is designed to withstand high G-forces, the watch is also water resistant to 30 ATM (1000 ft/300m) although it is not a diving watch due to using an entirely different bezel format to permit usage in two time zones it is manufactured to the same water resistance rating as our divers models with screw down crown and caseback.The main difference between this watch and many other models which we manufacture is that it is designed to maintain high levels of accuracy at altitudes up to 12,000m / 40,000ft without compensatory pressurization.The case is made of stainless steel. The rotating outer bezel provides annotations to enable the watch to show the time in two different time zones. The crystal is military grade sapphire which is highly scratch resistant with two internal layers of non reflective coating. The dial features a radioactive tritium symbol. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. When it decays, it emits beta particles although these do not penetrate skin, plastic, glass, etc. Whilst the vials contain radioactive gas even when they are all taken together they contain less than the personal limit of 25 millicuries – see U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations 10 CFR 30.15. We do stock many regimental colours and can change these over for you providing we have the stock, please let us know if you would prefer a certain colour of watch strap and we can accommodate this providing we have the colour. Highly Durable Rubber Strap – The rubber is Fluoroelastomer which is a synthetic rubber and is extremely dense, this makes it both ultra durable and highly resistant to water, chemicals, oil and heat. The benefits of this strap it that it is totally water-proof and chemical/dust/dirt resistant has a solid 316L stainless steel fastener with a quick release feature for fast and easy fitment or removal and is very light and soft for maximum comfort. ENGRAVING options and DETAILS. We a number of different types of engraving, here is a breakdown below for you. Frosted White Etch – This type of Etch is heat being applied through lasers altering the compounds surface. The etch has a slight raise to the touch and light in colour white/silver. This is mainly used in mass production etching of industrial component parts for serial numbers, company logos etc. Black Anneal Marking – This is a permanent mark which is left behind after very precise heat being applied through lasers. The Mark has no contours and is smooth to the touch, this type of Marking is most commonly used in the medical industry. Depth Engrave – This is a physical engrave that has depth into the material of the surface. High levels of heat is applied through lasers to remove the material, creating depth to the engraving. This has a depth to the touch, whilst a slightly roughed textured to the of the physical engraved area. Mix of Black/Depth Engrave – This is a mix of Black Annealing & Depth Engraving as detailed above. We will mark the logos in Black Anneal. Around the logo will be Depth Engraved along with any text. PERSONALISATION Please see the images in the gallery for the design that is used. The watch details on the outer edge can NOT be changed (Watch details/Model). The inside text is the text that can be personalised along with the centre logo or add extra text. We do hold popular logos, so do ask us for any enquires and we can advice from there. If you supply your own logo we can only engrave it to the quality you supply, we will always try our best to enhance the image so it’s clear as possible. Note we can not engrave colours (Only that as described in the engraving options). We always advice you message us prior and sending any images you wish to have engraved, unless you are certain they are high quality images that are simple and not very detailed.
