To initiate the power reserve, the watch must be wound manually. Turn the winding crown, in a clockwise direction for about 8 to 12 revolutions. Ensure that the crown is not pulled out when you are winding the crown.
Watch is in excellent working condition overall. Watch shows minor signs of gentle use. Crystal is clear. Watch has a new battery installed and works great. Backlight (Indiglo style) works. See photos for details.

This Item was found in the estate of a ninety seven year old watch repairman from manhattan who had recently passed away. I was unable to properly test this item.Due to the fact , it has no crown or stem. I did lightly blow air on the balance , and it rocked back and forth a few times then stopped.
