This LIP T24 watch is a variation on the famous Lip T18, which was given to Winston Churchill after the war. Its magnificent dial is brushed vertically and horizontally in two shades of silver, and features blue hands.

First generation Orient Mako in blue. Watch is overall in good condition with no major gouges or dents, but definitely has scratching in line with its age. There are scratches to the crystal most notably between 4 and 5 (see photo 3), but not highly noticeable in most situations. I don’t have the original links I removed, so the bracelet is sized for a maximum of around 6.75″. I am including a gray nylon, silicone, and Nato strap. The watch is around 10 years old and runs a little on the slow side at this point. The Watch Accuracy app reports around 20 seconds a day slow, and that feels about right. Watch has never been opened or regulated. Water resistantance at this point is unknown.
The polished blue ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel is mounted on a 41.5 mm stainless steel case with a helium-escape valve and an integrated date corrector at 10 o’clock.
